Due to "spring back" the actual radius of bend will be slightly
greater than half the diameter of former.
NOTE 2: For bends (bobs) the minimum straight length beyond the end of the curved portion is 5d, or 10d for links. |

2. Generally an inside or outside dimension shall be indicated by the position of the bending dimensions in the sketch. If the form of the bar is such that there may be doubt as to which is the inside of the bar, arrows should be drawn on the bending schedule or the dimension stated with the suffix o.d. i.d. (outside or inside dimension) |
